Becoming a Vampire in the Sims 4
The easiest way to complete this requirement is to start the game as a vampire. You start off as a vampire by creating one in CAS. You will need to select the add a new sim option from CAS, and select the vampire option from the pop up menu. You can then delete the human sim from your household if you want to. When you create a vampire you also have the option to change its dark form appearance (what your vampire looks like when it is feeding and performing vampire powers) as well as its normal appearance.
- The Sims 4 now has vampires! You’ll be able to do a ton of vampire-like things and make your very own Angel, Edward, or Nosferatu. Whatever you’re into. As a vampire sim, you need to have energy and points.
- Vampire Lore Skill. The Sims 4 Vampires introduces the all-new Vampire Lore Skill. Sims can master Vampire Lore by researching “Vampire Secrets” on a computer, asking others about Vampire History, or reading unlocked Vampire Books. Sims with a higher Vampire Lore Skill will unlock special interactions, crafts, recipes and drinks.
Just google Book of Chaos Sims 4 or Reaper Trait. Happy Gaming Crin. I don't work or have any association with EA. I give advice to the best of my knowledge. Within The Sims 4, there are a number of cheats associated with being a vampire. You can increase your rank, acquire vampire points for free and give your Sim a quick death, among other things.
If, however, your start this aspiration with a regular sim, you can turn them into a vampire. To do this you will first need to find an existing vampire – there are a few in the Forgotten Hollow, including Vladistraus, the head vampire, and the Valtore family. You will need to make friends with your chosen vampire, and once your friendship bar is high enough you will get an option, “Ask to Turn”. If you select this your friendly neighbourhood vampire will feed on you and then let you drink their blood.
It will take about three sim days for you to turn into a vampire. During this time, you will have an uncomfortable moodlet as your body goes through strange changes, and you are suddenly hungry all the time. Occasionally you may also see strange lights being emitted from your stomach. After a few days you will get a notification that you are a vampire, and will notice that your needs panel has changed.
Vampires have slightly different needs than regular sims. Rather than bladder (vampires do not use the toilet) and energy, your vampire sim will have a big vampiric energy bar, and a thirst bar rather than hunger. You will also have a purple experience bar at the bottom and a button to access your vampire powers menu – see the Sims 4 Vampire Guide – Vampire Powers page for more information. Thirst works much like hunger does for regular sims, but can only be satisfied with plasma from another sim, plasma pack or plasma fruit, rather than by eating. Vampiric energy works a bit differently from normal energy. Rather than being used up by simply being awake, you will use energy when performing vampiric powers, or by being out in the sun for too long. Be careful, as if your vampiric energy gets too low when you are in the sun, your sim vampire can die!
Searching a Computer for Information on Vampires in the Sims 4
You can search a computer for information on vampires in the sims 4, simply by clicking on a computer, and the option should appear. Once you have already searched the computer once, a vampire menu option should appear instead, and you should be able to search for information under it. As your vampire lore knowledge improves then you will gain more options under this menu, including ordering vampire books and seeds.
Reading the Encyclopedia Vampirica Volume 1 in the Sims 4
Once you have searched a computer for information on Vampires you will find out about the Encyclopedia Vampirica. You can then order the encyclopedia from a bookshelf or computer under the vampire section. As you read the book you will gain Vampire Lore skill as well as some experience points if you are already a vampire. You can learn the Vampire Lore skill more quickly if your sim is in a focussed mood while reading the book, as being focussed gives you a boost in learning the skill.
Ways to get your sim focussed include:
- Pondering moves at a chess board – this also gives you some logic skill
- Browsing the simpedia at the computer (under the web section) – this quickly gives you a focussed buff
- With higher levels of logic you can also get focussed buffs from playing chess or using the observatory. (The microscope will sometimes make you inspired)
- If you have any objects that have a focussed aura you can activate it to make your sim focussed when nearby it. These objects include prints from the observatory and microscope, mathematical drawings painted on the easel while focussed and certain work reward objects.
- Become a Minor Vampire (for 500 SP)
- Participate in Vampire Training (for 500 SP)
- Reach Level 4 Vampire Lore (for 300 SP)
Participating in Vampire Training in the Sims 4
To participate in Vampire training you need to find another vampire. If they are of a higher vampire level than you then when you click on them, and look under the vampire menu, then there should be an option to “Ask for vampire training”. If you are of a higher level than them you can “Offer Vampire Training”. Both options will count as participating in vampire training. There is the issue that if the vampire is the same level as you, you will not be able to train with them (as neither of you would learn anything). Training will use up some of your vampiric energy so make sure that your energy bar is high enough before participating in training.
Becoming a Minor Vampire in the Sims 4
Once your sim has become a vampire, you will notice a small purple experience bar at the bottom of their needs panel. As you perform vampire powers and activities, such as compelling a sim to let you drink from them, participating in training or casting hallucinations, your sim will gain experience. As you gain experience you will also sometimes gain points which can be used to spend on vampire powers, which you can access from the button next to the experience bar. Once your experience bar is full you will level up to a minor vampire, which will unlock more vampire powers. However, once you become a minor vampire, you will need to take on a weakness if you want to take any new powers. For more information about powers and weaknesses read our Sims 4 Vampire Guide – Vampire Powers.
To gain experience as a vampire, to help you level up to a minor vampire, you can spar with other vampires, participate in training, or perform mind control powers on other sims. You will also gain a bit of experience by compelling other sims to allow you to drink from them. You can also gain some minor experience by reading volumes of the Encyclopedia Vampirica.
Reaching Level 4 in Vampire Lore in the Sims 4
You can learn vampire lore by reading the Encyclopedia Vampirica volumes. If your sim is in a focussed mood they will learn Vampire Lore at a faster rate. As you learn more about Vampire Lore, you will unlock further volumes of the Encyclopedia which will help you improve your skill, as well as learning some new recipes and how to craft a few items including plasma packs and garlic garlands. Currently the only way to learn vampire lore is to read the encyclopedias, but they can also give you vampire experience to help you level up as a vampire.
- Reach Vampire Lore Level 7 (for 500 SP)
- Defeat 3 Vampires in Combat (for 750 SP)
- Become a Prime Vampire (for 750 SP)
Reaching Vampire Lore Level 7 in the Sims 4
As with reaching level four of the Vampire Lore skill, you can only learn the skill by reading the encyclopedias, and you will learn the skill at a faster rate if you are focussed while reading. As your skill improves and you finish reading the books you will unlock further volumes of the encyclopedia, until you can eventually order the Ultimate Vampire Tome. Reading the encyclopedias will not only give you skill in Vampire Lore but will also give you a bit of vampire experience which will help you level up as a vampire.
Becoming a Prime Vampire in the Sims 4
A prime vampire is the level above a minor vampire. As with becoming a minor vampire, you can gain experience by performing vampire powers, fighting in spars, participating in vampire training and compelling other sims to allow you to feed. Once your experience bar is full you will become a Prime vampire and unlock a new level of skills, but have to take on a new weakness. Please see our guide Sims 4 Vampire Guide – Vampire Powers for more information on the vampire powers.
Defeating 3 Vampires in Combat in the Sims 4
Your vampire can fight another vampire in a spar, by selecting another vampire and choosing the Vampiric Spar option under the friendly menu. This will cause you and the other vampire to have a friendly fight. The stronger your vampire is, the more likely they are to win the fight. If you want to improve your chances of winning your vampire can either improve their fitness skill or can purchase the Vampiric Strength power, once they become a prime vampire. This will also help them improve their fitness skill more quickly.
You do not have to fight three separate vampires to complete this requirement. Instead you could fight with the same vampire on three separate occasions. This is particularly useful if your vampire does not have a high fitness level, and so is not very strong. Although Vladistraus appears to be the head vampire in the Sims 4, he is not very strong, and can be beaten in battle without any fitness level. So if you want to complete this requirement without improving your strength, you could just challenge Vladistraus to spar three times.
- Become a Grand Master Vampire (for 1500 SP)
- Read the Ultimate Vampire Tome (for 1000 SP)
- Survive for an Additional 20 Days as a Vampire (for 1250 SP)
Becoming a Grand Master Vampire in the Sims 4
A grand master vampire is the top-level of vampires. So in order to reach this level you will need to keep gaining experience by performing vampiric powers, sparring and training with other vampires or compelling other sims to allow you to feed from them. You can also gain experience from reading the encyclopedias and the Ultimate Vampire Tome. As you level up you will need to take on weaknesses, with two weaknesses at the final level, if you want to keep gaining powers. For more information on vampire powers and weaknesses read our guide Sims 4 Vampire Guide – Vampire Powers.
Once your sim vampire is a Grand Master Vampire, they can still gain experience points to spend on powers by filling up their experience bar. However, rather than getting points at each marker, they will get 2 points each time the bar is filled.
Reading the Ultimate Vampire Tome in the Sims 4
You can unlock the Ultimate Vampire Tome by reading the other three volumes of the Encyclopedia Vampirica and reaching level 13 of the Vampire Lore skill. (The vampire lore skill goes up to level 15 rather than 10 as is normal with other skills). Dirt 3 crack play.exe download. You can purchase the tome from the bookcase or the computer for $1,000. As you read it you will also gain some vampire experience as well as vampire lore skill.
Surviving for an Additional 20 Days as a Vampire in the Sims 4
The countdown for this requirement starts as soon as you have reached the fourth milestone of this aspiration. This means that you do not have to read the ultimate vampire tome or have become a grand master vampire before starting this requirement. This requirement is not hard to complete, but obviously takes some time.
The only thing that will kill your vampire is sunlight, so make sure to avoid it where possible, and always have high vampire energy levels before going outside. If your vampire energy level reaches zero when you are still in the sun your vampire will die. So avoid the sun when you can and rest before going outside in the daylight hours. It begins to get dark around 6pm in the sim world, but there is still some minor sunlight about until around 8pm, so to keep completely safe do not leave the house until 8pm, and return before 5am.
Your vampire actually does not need plasma to survive, but they will get very uncomfortable if they do not feed regularly, and find it hard to do other things. You can feed on plasma packs and plasma fruit if you do not want to feed from other sims.
You will have to keep this aspiration active while waiting for the 20 days to complete, you can not switch to other aspirations and keep the countdown. So the hardest part of completing this requirement is keeping your sim busy. However, they can always work on other skills, or their career during this time, or even raise a family if they want to.
Once you complete this aspiration you will be rewarded with the A True Master reward trait. This trait will give you greater vampiric power, so in effect it will cost you less energy to perform powers. It will also make you much better at mind control, and you are a lot less likely to fail in mind control powers, such as hallucinations, or in compelling a sim to allow you to feed.

Vampires have been part of our collective for hundreds of years, at least in one way or another.
And considering just how popular they are nowadays (thanks Twilight) it’s no surprise they also found their way into The Sims 4.
The Vampire Game Pack was released way back in 2017 which added vampirism, vampire powers, and a new residential world called Forgotten Hollow where these creatures of the dark prefer to live their “lives”.
It was a massive content update with new aspirations, traits, and a lot of CAS additions. And yet, people still don’t have enough.
New vampire CC is still some of the most requested by players. And modders work tirelessly to deliver.
If you’re one of those people that just can’t get enough of the mysterious bloodsucking creatures, well then this gallery is for you.
17. Vampire Sun Immunity
Do you know what sets vampires from Sims 4 and Twilight apart?
TS4 vampires wither and die within seconds of being under the sun, while those in Twilight just… sparkle.
Well this mod by creator RevyRei won’t make your vampires sparkle.
But it will make them immune to the sun’s UV rays.
Now your trendy Millenial nosferatu can freely enjoy the beach, picnics in the park, and going to Coachella with the squad without worrying about the Reaper visiting them.
16. Vampires – Free Perks
Another somewhat cheaty but useful addition to your Sims 4 mod library is this freebie by modder Baibaihe.
As you probably got from the name, this simply makes all vampire perks free so you won’t need to spend any points to become the best vampire that ever was.
It’s ideal both for outright cheating, or just softening the difficulties of vampirism by getting stuff like Tamed Thirst so you don’t need to kill.
Alternatively there’s a toned-down version that only makes the perks cheaper, to streamline your vampire’s progression without outright removing it. So it’s not totally game-breaking that way.
15. Vampires – No Weakness
And why stop at making perks free? Why not also remove any downsides to vampirism?
Both of these mods are just meant to let you play around freely without worries or limitations.
Impex powerhouse home gym wm1403 manual. After all, didn’t your Sim become an immortal being to have fun?
Or you can also choose to make a Sim with every single weakness, a wretched being full of hatred and frustration! Why?
I don’t really know.
But what matters is that you can.
14. Slower Thirst Decay
Have you ever felt like your vampires are a bit on the greedy side?
Just a couple of neck sips a week should be enough to keep them going… and yet, they seem to want to drink the whole neighborhood.
With this small tweak by modder Baibaihe your vampire’s thirst motive will decay half as fast. So you don’t have to worry about having to risk your life hunting in the middle of the day.
I mean sure, you could make some plasma packs. But who wants to hunt that many frogs?
13. Turn Into Vampire Always Succeeds
Another minor inconvenience that vampire Sims may run into from time to time is wanting to turn someone into a vampire and failing in the process.
Especially during the day.
Thanks to this simple tweak by modder Couch, trying to turn another Sim into a denizen of the night will never fail. This actually lets you turn everyone in your town into your blood-bound slave, if you desire.
12. Plasma Pack from Plasma Fruit
One of the few ways for a vampire to avoid having to feed off another Sim is to make Plasma Packs by processing frogs or fish into bootleg blood bags.
But isn’t that a bit unfair towards them?
Prolific creator LittleMsSam certainly thinks so.
Which is why she made this simple mod that lets you take Plasma Fruit and turn it into Plasma Packs rather than eat it directly.
They’re 50% better at quenching your thirst, surpassing even homemade Plasma Packs made out of the previously mentioned critters.
This is ideal for Sims with the Good Vampire aspiration.
11. Vampires: Stop Pestering Me!
One of the first things you’ll notice after installing the Vampires Game Pack and meeting some bloodsuckers is that they’re very insistent on trying to consume you at inconvenient times.
They’ll make creepy calls, invite you to sketchy places, and even break into your home to try and suck you dry every other day.
Long story short, they can be unbearable for the average sim.
Now thanks to this mod by Vwaryloth you can rest easy knowing vampires can’t invade your home. They’ll also stop being creepy towards you, and Vlad will simply leave you alone.
10. Harvestable Heart Tree
I love trees that grow things that aren’t fruit.
The trees that grow money in Animal Crossing: New Horizons are a prime example. And now, so are Vampire Heart Trees in TS4.
This mod by IceMunMun was meant to serve as a sort of Valentine’s Day celebration for vampires, introducing edible Vampire Hearts that fill their thirst.
And it can even be used to cook vampire food given the recipe uses fruits.
These hearts grow from a very special tree that you can plant and nurture yourself, and it may grow different kinds of heart fruit that not only glows different colors, but will give you moodlets like Flirty or Happy.
It just adds to the fun, really. Phineas and ferb dimension of doom game download.
9. Airianna’s Vampire Tweaks
There are a couple things about vampire gameplay that simply make no sense.
Things like always being out of vampire energy, and the fact that several traits related to hunger or energy do not affect them.
Thanks to these Vampire Tweaks by modder Airianna, Vampires will now use Dark Meditation to replenish their Vampire Energy whenever they’re idle.
And some traits like Hardly Hungry and Never Weary have been modified to affect Thirst and Vampire Energy in the same way they do normal sims.
They’re small changes, I’ll admit.
But after a few hours with this mod you won’t be able to go back.
8. Vampire Powers
Instead of simply installing a mod that cheats your way out of avoiding the sun or having to drink human blood, consider this immersive alternative by modder LittleMsSam.
The way this mod works is adding a couple of extra powers your vampires can spend their vampire energy on, including enabling their mirror reflection, stopping uncontrollable hissing, and becoming immune to sunlight.
These effects are temporary and will fade away after seven in-game days. So they’re perfect for those times when you just wish your sim could attend a specific daylight event.
7. KM Vampire Eyes
If you’re just looking for a bit more variety in your vampire Sims’ looks, KM Vampire Eyes is something you can’t pass up.
This mod by creator KittyMeow adds 10 new eye colors and some variations, available for all sims if you’d like, but intended to be used on vampires.
Among the most unique are a couple that turn the sclera (the white of the eye) completely black, which creates a great contrast with bright iris colors.
6. Vampirify – Vampire Creation Spell
In a world where vampires are real, learning the most you can about them is a matter of life and death.
And this is something that anyone well-versed in the magical arts should be keenly aware of.
Sims 4 Werewolf Mod
With this mod by R3M, studying so much vampire lore will eventually give spellcasters the Vampirify spell. Which not only turns anyone into a vampire, but makes whoever cast the spell into their master.
Sims 4 Vampire Hunter Trait
All of this despite not being bloodsuckers themselves. Dark, yeah?
As a bonus they’ll also gain a spell to reverse vampirism and turn denizens of the night back into normal humans, which is an invaluable skill for anyone living close to a vampire den.
5. Vampires Can Kill
Despite being named “Vampires Can Kill”, this mod by Zer0 is actually a collection of vampire-related tweaks that go beyond whether drinking blood can end a life.
Its primary feature is, of course, adding the possibility to kill other sims by over-drinking. Whether on purpose or by accident.
For some of you I know it’s no accident. Remember all those years of removing the ladder out of the swimming pool?
But by far the most interesting addition from this mod is turning all sims into cattle through the Manipulate Life Spirit interaction, binding them to the vampire in a sort of symbiotic relationship.
Cattle Sims are only happy when they’re serving their master. But will slowly wither away and die as the vampire sucks them dry, bringing their story to a tragic end. How fun, yet tragic. Yet fun!
4. Immersive Vampires
Another amazing mod by vampire-lover and modder Zer0 is Immersive Vampires.
This makes living as a vampire sim not only more realistic, but overall more engaging.
It fleshes-out vampire gameplay by giving you the possibility to confess your vampirisim to other Sims, either to scare them or because they’re your friends and you just want them to know.
However not all Sims will react the same. And they all have their own opinions on vampirekind based on their traits and past experiences.
You can try to convince them vampires aren’t that bad, but you won’t always succeed. And some might even become vampire hunters and make it their life’s mission to unmask you and your kind.
3. Event: Vampire Initiation Ritual
Willingly becoming a vampire is something that does not always get treated with severity.
You’re becoming an immortal. That’s got to be at least as important as a wedding!
Polish creator IlkaVelle took it upon herself to make an event out of it, complete with a Senior Vampire host and both vampire and human guests.
If you manage to pull off a good turning party you’ll get a sizable starter pack including Plasma Packs, Plasma Fruits, the Ultimate Vampire Tome and even a Coffin so you can sleep in peace. How sweet.
2. Darkside Vampire Career
Rumors have been circulating all around town about the Darkside Club.
This is a new nightclub with a secret… it’s actually a hub for vampire operations and entertainment.
This mod by TiaraM opens the doors to three different career paths, all beginning at the Darkside.
Whether you want to become the vampires’ plaything, turn into a denizen of the night yourself, or devote your life to hunt them – it’s up to you.
Personally, I think becoming a premium escort for vampires and getting paid to let them suck my blood sounds like a dream job. Better than McDonald’s, at least.
1. Bloodborne Aspiration
Based on Vampires “Don’t Sleep Alone: Your Guide to Meeting, Dating, and Seducing a Vampire” by Elizabeth Barrial, this mod by creator Sresla introduces a new aspiration for vampire sims bent on discovering the truth about their ancestry.
And it’s a doozy.
You’ll go through several stages, learning about vampires and completing tasks that little by little reveal the truth about your Vampiric Caste.
Sims 4 Vampire Hunter Mod
If you’re looking for something to give your adventures a bit of narrative structure, the Bloodborne aspiration might be your ticket to hours of fun.
